stereotypes...

there are two types of stereotypes:
the ones that are accurate do to a majority...
and the ones that are inaccurate, but the social majority refuses to address them.

there's never enough clouds...

the light at the end of the tunnel is merely a candle you can blow out by the panting of the running towards it.

DO NOT underestimate the power of reminding someone that they have something to lose.

to those i confront, i look straight in the eye, and therefore, no look-up to, yet...
AND/ to those which whom i see eye-to-eye... well, clearly, one of us is taller.

PLUS, she did tell me that cities were meant for her to be in, but not to live in...

living a dream, even in pijamas.

thoughts....

i'll tell you what suck, tho...
when you have affection and desire for another human being;
that feeling in the stomach like a knot and unwilling attraction for someone you cant help to put on a pedestal, tho see them for their flaws and cant help to think that they bring you in to your life....

...and that person feels EXACTLY the same...

THAT is just disaster waiting to happen.

rescue...

i want to adopt a dog so old, that i can lie and believe myself that when it DIES, itMAYBE wasnt my fault.

women...

women know what they want...
...they just dont know when.

tech-choices...

when it comes to technology appreciation, usually, the audience breaks into three major groups:
the old, trans and the granted.

regardless of age, the old are the ones who, no matter what the device is and what's function is, the new  is never as good as the old, and never will be. the new is always a disaster waiting to happen and a manifestation of the world falling apart.
nothing will ever be as good as what was because they reminisce in a hyper idealistic nostalgia that is self-serving, and anything that interferes with that, disrupts that ideal.

the trans are the people who ar living the change and adapting to it, whether for better or for worse, in good ways and bad, they comment on the problems of innovation, but cant help to want to be part of it. they acknowledge the past and give it a special place in their ideals, but, get excited for what's to come.
simultaneously, they tend to have a difficult time objectively differentiating between "different" and "better".
all in all, more power to them.

...AND the granted, predominantly the younger audiences. the ones who grow up with a set technology around them, and therefore... for the same reason, and probably to their benefit, take it for granted.

i for one, cant wait to see what will happen next.
